Took a bus down to visit Stephanie at Pasta Fresca.

So yup! The manager gave us a discount,
& all desserts will be free on our next visit :D

Chatted with this two girls from Hillgroove Sec (:
Michelle & Chu Wen came over to pass us the soundtracks.
They helped to look after our stuff & all. So sweet!
And I met Karen downstairs too!

Everyone's neatly seated when they arrived.
Played games! Some parts were quite sick though.

I think office pitching is interesting!

Pitching in Bridal & Make Up shops are quite fun too!

Anyhow, we walked a hell lot yesterday.
Chinatown to Outram to Raffles & back to Tanjong Pagar.

Team dinner at Clarke Quay was so-so.
Didn't really enjoy it anyway!
Perhaps I was just a little too worn out, right.

Just came back from Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.
Yes, no more Bangkok shopping trip!
All thanks to the recent terrorist bombings.
My geeky sister chose to gave this trip a miss anyway.
Well, shopping was good (:
Bought more clothes and charm necklaces.
Dad bought mum a new Braun Buffel handbag.
I hope to receive my gift really soon. Haha!
& I bought this strawberry flavoured tape too.

The ride back to Singapore was superb (:
We had the newer executive semi-deck coach.
I had one big seat to myself !
& could lift my legs up like a rickshaw rider.
& lower down the seat like no one's seating behind.
Meals & entertainment on board wasn't too bad.
Watched She's The Man, Big Momma's House 2 & Zathura.
& I love Swiss Thins, very much. Haha!

Anyway, went to collect our pay on Monday.
Reached the office at noon but the bosses weren't around.
Lunched at Bugis then took a bus down to Vivo.
Bought a top each from Zara! (:
Dropped by the office again. Got our pathetic pay.
Though it's just a few bucks but then again,
Tell me who actually turns down money.
Especially when you've worked so hard for it. Haha!
At least out of the 2 days, I enjoyed myself for a day.
I'm getting real sick of this job,
And it's so tiring to keep smiling the whole day!

Met Jaslyn for dinner this evening at Downtown.

The customers will get so annoyed by my pitching.
& selling my remaining 5 cards would be rather difficult.
Plus, there's meeting and team dinner tomorrow too.
I doubt I'll enjoy myself anyway.

Meanwhile, I shall just keep popping in lozenges,
until my sore throat gets better!

Work yesterday was rather fun (: I guess.
At least I've enjoyed working with the team at Wheeeelock!

We missed our stop and landed up at some Tourism Centre.
A long morning walk back to Wheelock, ate & started pitching.

So we were just resting at the benches along the street.

Anyhow, still managed to scrape through a booklet.

Okay, so my happiness was short-lived.

Was posted at Orchard today. It was a two-man team :(
Sad to say but I really hate work today. Shan't elaborate.
I was so annoyed that I felt like quitting on the spot.
So I met Jaslyn, who was just at Wheelock, for lunch :D
It was the most wonderful time of the day! LOL.
Back to work at 3. I gave up and slacked all the way till 7,
leaving the last five cards hanging. Hahaha!
Sneaked to Far East with Jaslyn but had to go back soon after.
Her leader called her back so I just roamed around.
Wanted to walk over to Zara,
but got caught by Brenda outside Borders.
Just my luck, man :(
So I had no choice but to return to my posted area.
And please, Wheelock & Orchard is just a street away!

Made my own way back to the office.
Waited for Jaslyn before heading back home (:
Told them we're quitting.
Then they started psycho-ing us to stay longer.
We alr, felt damn guilty please :(
It's like, even leaders/members from other teams,
whom we hardly talk to, also tried pursuading.
AHHHHH. I don't know what to say.
But oh well, we've made a deal with them.
We'll try to come back next week.

Thank goodness we weren't working.
It was raining so heavily the entire day!

So we slacked around Downtown the whole time.

Friday; back to work/bonus day.
Change of teams! Not very satisfactory.
Had ice cream before heading down to our venues.
Then MeOw had to say I look like a Secondary 3.
Man, Geraldine sure needs to grow up a little. Haha!
Grrr, then I kept dropping coins in the train.
Wei Jie and this guy were busy helping me pick up those coins.
It was oh man, so embarrassing. Useless purse.
Sales wasn't very good. So Zhi Yang & I had no bonus :(

I got myself a new purse after work anyway!
Jaslyn says it's preeeeetty. Haha!
Then off to do some shopping in town (:
Took a bus from Wheelock.

So we walked all the way from Bras Basar to Bugis.

Went to the office first thing in the morning.

Lunched at LJS. Then headed to Downtown.
Finally we got to meet Miss Delvinder.
She looks different. Gu-niang can. Haha!
And there was some filming going on there too.

She's like, soooooo slim. Hahaha!

Bused to Compasspoint (:
Bought a pair of purple Puma slippers.
Played Speedhockey at the mini Timezone. Yay, it's 7-4!

Had our favourite chocolate waffle :D
Then we bumped onto Liang Qin, working.
He's good. He managed to sell about 3 booklets!
I'm already having difficulties selling one booklet. Haha!

Jaslyn overslept yesterday and so we reported late for work.
Sales was crap and my Law of Averages sucked.
Dang, I was so ashamed of myself okay! Hahahaha!
Tang said everyone literally turned from mammals to reptiles.
Lame right! Obs- & I then gave him that whatever kind of look.
Foodcourt's under renovation, so settled dinner at LerkThai (:
MeOw called for some talk and I slept only at 1am.
Jaslyn slept at 12 and yet she overslept today, again.

So yeap! Reported late for work, once again.
We were so, soooo tired today okay.
Stoned throughout the meetings & morning cheers.
The previous observer quit, so we had a new observer today.
Grrr, he kept snatching my customers please. Oh weeell.
It's a Wednesday today. So work ended an hour earlier.
Waited for Jaslyn back at the office. Towned (:
Met Syy at Pacific Plaza before heading home.
And I almost got knocked down by a car at Wheelock. Haha!
If not for Jaslyn, I'd have fallen backwards and prolly crushed.
Bused home all the way! I had a lot of fun gossiping. Haha!

Oh yay, not going for work tomorrow! I can finally sleep in (:
Instead, we're going to visit Delvinder at Downtown!
It's a day late but still, HAPPY 17th BIRTHDAY :D
And there's some team dinner tomorrow too.

Job training sucked, big time. A big company with 10 branches all over South-East Asia and delivering products to shops like Action City! It's generally known as an advertising/gift specialists company. Sounds like some damn professional company right. Ha Ha. They hire people like us to help them sell pens at the neighbourhood while the leaders (Eg. Casper) just sit around + talk on the phone, and earn the commission.

Only 4 were selected out of the 315289 people who came for the interview yesterday. Call ourselves unlucky. Accounted for our products & free gifts, rehearsed and got ready to sell those (ugly! useless! brandless!) stuff. Obviously Casper, our so-called leader, splited Jaslyn & I into different teams. She was grouped with Ming Xuan, CK and that Casper (the fat! ghost). I had only one buddy, Lionel. He's been working there for about a week already. My team's pathetic right! Or rather, my pair's pathetic. Haha!

Hello guess what. We were then told to sell our products at - coffeeshops. And who were our supposedly clients? Old aunties & uncles. Plus, we had to sell at least 7 to get through a 2nd interview, 15 to qualify for MF and 16 to win the daily bonus. After 1 hour or so, Jaslyn & I messaged each other that we're thinking of quitting already. Damn tough job, really. It's like before you can even introduce yourself, you're being rejected already. So I managed to sell a total of 4 pens. Not bad already ok! Jaslyn sold zerooo. Haha!

At noon, Everyone in Jaslyn's team told Casper that they're quitting on the spot. And I, stationed all the way at Bukit Gombak, didn't know what to do. Haha! Called stupid Casper and he said I can only leave at 5.30pm. And he only picks up calls from Lionel, I realised. He rejected all my calls please. Oh then I asked him why the others can leave on the spot while I have to wait till evening. Then he started mumbling. Imagine a fat guy like him mumbling over the phone! Lionel then spoke to him and yay! I can quit on the spot too. Haha! I really pity Jaslyn's team for having Casper as their leader! He actually brought them to some Kallang industrial site, full of mud, tall grasses and huge longkangs. Haha!

Trained back to Chinatown. Haha! I walked back to the office while he continued to sell those pens, alone. Oh man, I think I'm so mean. Haha! Met Jaslyn at the office but the 2 other guys left already. I didn't get to say my last goodbye to them! Walked back to Chinatown mrt and met Lionel on the way. Bid goodbye for the 2nd time! Haha!

So yup, a day wasted. But at least we made a few new friends. Haha! I helped the company earn $40 okkkkk. But I'm glad CK reminded Jaslyn, and Jaslyn reminded me about the note we pasted on our box before leaving. If not I'd probably give the company another 5 bucks, for free. Haha!

Oh! And I found that stupid Casper on Friendster. He's only in Poly! We all thought he was a married man. Hahaha! And he used to keep long hair last time! Thank goodness he has already cut it short if not I bet everyone will just laugh their heads off and roll down the stairs. AnD hE TyPeS liKe ThIs.

Job hunting w/ Jaslyn & Chu Wen yesterday. HAHAHA OH MAN LONG TIME NO SEE PLS! (: Feels good to meet up again after a very long while! I really missed their company! And many others' too :D But it's rather hard to meet up now since school reopened already! Where's time! Oh weeeell.

Met at Downtown. I sat there while they applied for their WWW job. I don't wish to see Delvinder everyday. Ahah kidding! Then we walked over to White Sands. It'll soon be HSC's territory, really. Settled down at foodcourt then Jaslyn & I started reminiscing. Haha!

So we met up at Bugis in the afternoon today. That building's hard to find and it's beside Hotel 81. Haha! And it was a scorching hot day. How annoying! The interview was quite alright. The lady's friendly. All 3 got in! (:

After which, we trained further down to Outram. Many came down for this interview! The vice-chairman who interviewed us was damn nice. And the basic pay's pretty good too. Hahaha! Jaslyn & I got this job and training starts tomorrow!

But it's just a see how kinda thing, since we preferred the job at Bugis. Yay I'm pretty excited to start work with Jaslyn & Chu Wen on Monday! Haha! Please, please let us work under the purple guy! (((:

Had dinner at Meritus Mandarin Hotel's Chatterbox. I LOVE, I LOVE! THEIR CHICKEN RICE :D After which, we walked down to hunt for Ivan kor kor's birthday gift. Got him a Puma watch. It's nice 'cos it's black & red. Haha!

Anyway! Yesterday's countdown party at Brandon's was fab :D The Korea group finally got to meet up again after almost a week! "Korea group" sounds rather weird I know but, oh well - At least it's unique since we all met in Korea! Haha!

Played Bridge (: No more Daidee, Bridge's the in thing! LOL. Nicole's the Pro! She owned us by winning all 7 sets by herself. I doubt she still needs a partner in that game now. Haha! Explored the area and we encountered one female stalker. She's freaky. She's got huge curls. And she's all dressed in cyan.

Uncle's really nice! He made 2 trips just to drive all of us to the nearby court. He also printed and gave us the group photos we took in Korea! They were the most complete ones. Haha! So yeap. Played soccer and then the lights went off. I managed to kick the ball once. Not bad already ok! Haha! Switched to basketball. I think I'm suffering from mild night blindness. I got hit many times 'cos I could hardly see the ball. My new year's resolution would be to eat more carrots. Hahaha! I managed to shoot in a few times. Yay. Hahaha!

Walked back. Got to know a few of Brandon's schoolmates. Bridge-d yet again. Octopus joined in this time. Haha, I don't know his name. I only know that we were all in Korea that time but different tour groups. But of course, we didn't know each other then. Haha! Anyway, I won both games, like finally. I'm getting the hang of this game. Yay again! Hahaha! Well, I've always enjoyed these kind of gatherings! (: Looking forward to more of our Korea group meetings in this coming year!
